Earth Day 2019 is an event observed annually on April 22. It is a day held to demonstrate and promote environmental awareness and calls for the protection of our planet. Today, Earth Day, 2019 is celebrated in more than 193 countries each year.
Here are some very easy ways to help our environment:

Buy reusable bags - It’s been estimated that Americans use 100 billion plastic bags a year, and just the production alone for those requires about 12 million barrels of oil.
Use a refillable water bottle - Just because you’re tossing your plastic water bottles into the recycling bin doesn’t mean they're not hurting the environment.
Spend time outside - Earth Day is just a reminder of how beautiful and awesome our planet is. Take advantage of it! Most outdoor activities are free, so it’s a great way to spend time with your friends. Go to the park and swing, taking in deep breaths of the fresh air.
Attend an event – this is a good way to participate on this day. There are tons of festivals, organized cleanups, and walks to participate in for observance of Earth Day. Check out earthday.org to find local events and invite your friends to join you!
